“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.”
Psalms 23:4
Wow, what an interesting time in our world and lives as we know it. Almost everything has changed in our daily lives and schedules, but I hope we can all see the blessing that can come from this time and cling to the eternal hope that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. During this time, we truly see God’s promise in Romans 8:38- 39 that NOTHING can separate us from the LOVE of GOD. We are reminded in scripture that what was meant for harm God used for good, and see this theme continue through out the Bible. As I sit back and find the good things God is doing in this weird time I praise Him for the rest, time spent in His Word and in prayer, time with family, learning to enjoy the little things in life again like taking a long walk, and of course finally being able to read the books I’ve been meaning to read for months. I hope you are all able to sit back and see God’s blessing through this time and feel His sovereign hand working all things together for good.
I am thankful for the ability to gather online with coaches and athletes from across Larimer County every week. It is a truly incredible to see the community come together during this time. This is a crucial time to come alongside coaches and athletes as disappointment and confusion starts to settle in following cancelled seasons, we continue to pray that they too would trust the Lord in this season and that they would find peace knowing their identity is found in Him. God is working in this season and it is such a joy to be apart of it.
