Abby grew up in Riverside, Illinois and moved to Colorado to attend CSU. Abby was a multi-sport athlete in high school competing in swimming, water polo, and volleyball. Abby was involved with Cru, led Bible studies and has gone on several mission trips throughout high school and college. After graduating from CSU in 2017 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood professions, Abby decided to pursue her strengths of organization, time management, and planning and found herself a part of the FCA team! When Abby is not working for FCA, you can find her adventuring outside with her dog Huckleberry Finn, swing dancing, hanging out with her community, or cooking a fun meal!
Bre was born and raised just outside of Denver, Colorado. Her childhood was spent trying to keep up with her two older brothers, Chad and Nathan. Her parents, Ed and Jane, largely influenced her activities and faith. Ed was a top collegiate swimmer in the 80s, and Jane was a farm girl with a love for her horses and nature. Naturally, Bre grew up competing in sports and being outside on the family farm. Life was filled with school, swim practices, volleyball games, chores, church, and family dinner every night. Her senior year at Brighton High School, she stood 5’5” and decided to give up her love for volleyball to pursue collegiate swimming at Colorado State University. Bre quickly fell in love with college athletics and had a successful 5-year swimming career. Highlights include: being team captain for two years, placing top 25 in both backstroke events at DI NCAA Championships, qualifying for 2012 Olympic Trials, setting Mountain West Conference and CSU school records, and earning a spot as Scholar All-American. She graduated in 2013 with a bachelors and masters from the College of Business, then moved to San Diego, CA to experience beach life. A career in medical sales fell into her lap and triathlon racing became her new interest. In 2015, her Christianity went from “religion” to a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus. Her heart slowly changed as her identity became rooted in Christ and his promises to redeem the inner brokenness she hid so well. In 2017, the opportunity to join staff with FCA at CSU was presented. After months of prayer and surrendered expectations, it became clear that this a chance to say “yes” to God and his greater plans. As of February 2018, Bre is a Fort Collins resident, FCA Campus Rep, and a Volunteer Assistant Coach for CSU Swimming & Diving.

After seven years in Greeley and a brief year outside of ministry, Chris and his family are extremely excited to head to Colorado State University and impact lives through Christ on the CSU campus. Chris is excited to return to his old home town and Lyssa is excited to return to her alma mater where she played softball! Go Rams!
Sierra grew up in Grand Island, NE where her parents Bob and Sandy Peterson still live. Sierra has a twin sister, Savana and a younger brother Paxton. From a young age sports quickly became a huge part of her life. She played volleyball, basketball and track before starting her collegiate volleyball career at Bradley University and later transferring to South Dakota State University where she studied Business Economics. After coming to know Christ as her Lord and Savior at Covenant Cedars Bible Camp where she grew up attending summer youth camp, Sierra was introduced to Jackrabbit FCA her sophomore year of college. Sierra finally found her identity in Christ rather than in her sport and grew in faith through FCA more than she ever thought possible. Sierra was involved with the leadership team and summer internship program at South Dakota State University, where so many blessings were poured down on her. God blessed Sierra with great people to surround herself with in South Dakota and now He has brought her to Loveland to share His love. Sierra enjoys spending her free time hiking, running, lifting, reading, painting or just hanging out with friends. Sierra is most excited to further God's Kingdom in her favorite place in the world!

I live by the motto, Put God First and Enjoy the Journey. My wife Bridget and I moved to Colorado from Iowa in May 2018 to pursue our God given dreams. We have been blessed with the opportunity to connect with the great community of Estes Park in many ways. He's directed our path and affirmed our pursuit of Him in the midst of our move. One way we are able to carry out our mission of ministry to the younger generation of believers is to serve through FCA. We served as Youth Pastors in Iowa, and I coached High School and Club soccer for many years. We were actively involved in FCA leadership and camps in Iowa. Now that we are here in Estes Park, we will use our gifts to serve the Lord in our work, as well in our ministry to coaches and athletes. We look forward to seeing how God uses the ministry of FCA to build a community strong in the Lord. May many lives be transformed through the work of the Church. May we always be reminded of God's goodness as we look at the beauty of His creation that surrounds us here in the mountains. Lord help us go forth and multiply your Kingdom here!
